About the Book

Educational psychology stands at the crossroads of theory and practice, weaving together insights from psychology with the day to-day realities of classrooms. Introduction to Educational Psychology has been conceived out of our shared conviction that teachers, students of education, and policymakers need a text that
bridges academic rigor with real-world classroom experiences, especially within the Indian context. While the global field has been enriched by pioneering research, its adaptation to Indian classrooms—with their diversity, challenges, and unique opportunities—has often remained fragmented. This book seeks to
address that gap by offering a comprehensive, accessible, and contextually grounded introduction.
