About the Book

Biological control has emerged as a cornerstone of sustainable agriculture, offering a natural and effective alternative to chemical-based practices that often harm the environment and human health. In response to challenges such as climate change, soil degradation, and the growing resistance of pathogens to chemical treatments, “Biological Control of Plant Diseases: Innovative Strategies for Enduring Crop Protection” provides a comprehensive resource for utilizing biological methods to manage plant diseases sustainably. This book focuses on leveraging beneficial organisms such as microbes, fungi, and natural predators to suppress plant pathogens and promote crop health. Biological control is not a standalone solution but an essential component of integrated crop protection strategies, requiring a deep understanding of ecological interactions and local agricultural systems.
