About the Book

Marketing is being transformed in today’s world, with new technology, changes in buyers’ preferences and attention to moral principles in business. Now, product-focused strategies and usual commercial approaches are not the only feature of the marketplace. It is not being boxed in by old rules anymore because of latest technologies, concern for sustainability and ethical behaviour. In this context, this book “Progressive Marketing Approaches: Integrating Technology, Ethics & Innovation”—seeks to examine, analyse and show marketing from several angles as it responds to today’s worldwide economic situation. Various experts in the field have come together in this book to discuss how innovation, digital changes and ethical marketing meet. The name of the book suggests it is about strategies that support better engagement among customers, the success of the organization and good ethics, openness and sustainability. Thus, it deals with many areas, some of which are artificial intelligence marketing, safeguarding customer privacy and data, marketing with a focus on the environment, hiring a diverse workforce, ethical marketing issues, making use of blockchain in marketing, trusting digital platforms and keeping innovation at the heart of marketing planning. Studies presented in this volume are either empirical, conceptual, case-based or review-focused and they nicely combine their value for research and for practical use. Authors share the insights from scholars, researchers and marketers who focus on both the concepts and practical aspects of marketing changes. Dealing with present-day concerns of data privacy and AI in marketing, the book points readers, business leaders and experts in the field in the right direction. It is of key importance that this publication is created as a result of teamwork among experienced editors and scholars. The visions presented in this book hold that today’s marketing should be founded on ethics, show true concern for everyone and keep up with advances in society and technology. This idea is visible in every chapter that was written for this book.
