About the Book

The present volume Beyond Boundaries: Interdisciplinary Dialogue in Literary Studies emerges from a sustained engagement with the evolving concerns of literary studies in the twenty-first century. At a time when the humanities are continually called upon to justify their relevance, this collection seeks to reaffirm the enduring significance of literature as a critical space for reflection, resistance, and reimagination. The essays gathered here traverse multiple thematic, theoretical, and methodological terrains, yet they are united by a shared commitment to interrogating the complexities of human experience as mediated through language, narrative, and cultural expression. The impetus behind this volume lies in the recognition that literature is not merely a repository of aesthetic forms but a dynamic field in which social, political, and philosophical questions are articulated and contested. In an increasingly fragmented world marked by rapid technological change, shifting identities, and persistent inequalities, literary texts continue to offer nuanced insights into the structures that shape human life. This collection, therefore, aims to bring together diverse critical perspectives that engage with issues of identity, gender, space, silence, trauma, memory, and truth—concepts that remain central to contemporary intellectual discourse.
