Abhishek Venkateshaiah, pursued his Ph.D. from the Dept. of Entomology at KSNUAHS, Shivamogga. He was the recipient of ICAR-SRF fellowship award for his doctoral program. He carried out research on “Taxonomic studies on species complexes of fruit flies of tribe Dacini (Diptera: Tephritidae: Dacinae) in India. He has been conducting extensive surveys across India since 2022 including Andaman Islands, Western Ghats and Northeast India to ascertain the diversity, which lead to the description of eight new species and six new records of fruit flies to the country. He has published several research and review articles and presented his work in various international and national conferences for which he bagged several awards.

Sanjay Hembram, Scholar of Agricultural Entomology. He has degree of B.Sc. (Hon’s) Agriculture from Ranchi Agriculture College under Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi in 2018. He completed his M.Sc. Agriculture from the Department of Entomology under Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi in 2021. He has awarded as Best oral presentation Award, Best poster presentation Award, Best article Award in different seminars in his professional career

Avinash Shivaji Mahale, currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Entomology at NAU, Navsari. He holds an M.Sc. (Agri.) in Entomology from VNMKV, Parbhani, and has expertise in insect pest management, bio-control, and integrated pest management. His research focuses on mass production of bio-agents and bio-pesticides. Mr. Mahale has published 14 research papers and contributed to various media, including radio and TV talks. He has taught as an Assistant Professor of Entomology at institutions like K. K. Wagh College of Agriculture and MPKV College of Agriculture, Dhule. His work continues to impact pest management practices in agriculture.

D. Neethu Roy, highly qualified entomologist with a B.Sc. in Agriculture and an M.Sc. in Entomology from the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU, Hyderabad, Telangana, followed by a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur, Karnataka. She achieved an all-India 10th rank in the ICAR-SRF entrance exam in 2020 and cleared the ASRB-NET in 2021. Dr. Roy specializes in the isolation and mass multiplication of entomopathogenic fungi from soil and insect cadavers, developing formulations such as talc, oil, gel, and microencapsulation for their application as biological control agents. Her expertise includes extracting secondary metabolites from microbes and identifying coccinellid beetles at the genus level. Additionally, she prepares samples for pesticide residue analysis across various agricultural products, reflecting her extensive expertise in entomology and mycology while actively engaging in national and international conferences.

Yamini M, PhD Scholar at Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shivamogga, Karnataka. She has successfully completed her undergraduate program in B.Sc. (Hons.) from College of Agriculture, Hassan, Karnataka and M.Sc. (Entomology) from University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka.
