Nilima Gogoi is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Department of Physics at Duliajan College, Assam, India. With over nine years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, she is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and promoting innovative research. She earned her M.Sc. in Physics from Dibrugarh University and her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Tezpur University. Her primary area of research is Optical Communication, and she has over six years of active research experience. Dr. Gogoi has published several papers in reputed international journals, contributed book chapters to edited volumes and has edited three research-based books.

Poppy Hazarika

Poppy Hazarika

Poppy Hazarika is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Duliajan College, Assam, where she has been serving since February 2015. She obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from Dibrugarh University and has also worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a collaborative project between Dibrugarh University and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. Her primary area of research is High Energy Physics, and she is actively involved in several research initiatives alongside her teaching responsibilities. Dr. Hazarika has published many papers in reputed international journals, contributed book chapters to edited volumes, authored a textbook based on the CBCS syllabus, and edited three research-oriented books.

Anshuman Borthakur

Anshuman Borthakur

Anshuman Borthakur is the Head of the Department of Physics at D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous), Dibrugarh, Assam, India. He has over twelve years of research and teaching experience spanning undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Before joining DHSK College, he served as the Head of the Department of Physics at The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, contributing significantly to academic development and institutional growth. He has also worked as a Project Scientist at the Centre of Plasma Physics – Institute for Plasma Research (CPP-IPR), Sonapur, where he was engaged in research projects of national importance in computational plasma physics. He has actively contributed to curriculum development for DHSK College (Autonomous) and The Assam Kaziranga University. His research interests include Thin Film Technology, Photovoltaics, and Computational Plasma Physics.

Paragjyoti Chutia

Paragjyoti Chutia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, D.H.S.K. College (Autonomous), Dibrugarh, Assam. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Tezpur University. His research interests focus on low-temperature transport properties in conducting polymer nanostructures and polymer electrolytes. Dr. Chutia has published several research papers in reputed international journals and contributed book chapters to edited volumes. He is the recipient of multiple distinctions, including the Young Scientist Award (2015) and Best Oral Presentation Awards (2022, 2024), and holds the rank of Lieutenant in the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Alongside his academic and research pursuits, he has actively contributed to organizing and convening numerous national and international conferences and webinars in the field of physical sciences.
