About the Book

In an era marked by rapid transformation, complexity, and global interconnectedness, social science research has become more vital than ever. The volume Social Science Research Today: Methods, Issues and Innovations seeks to capture the evolving landscape of contemporary research practices while addressing the pressing challenges faced by scholars, practitioners, and policymakers alike. Social sciences today extend far beyond traditional boundaries, integrating interdisciplinary approaches to better understand human behavior, societal structures, and global phenomena. With the emergence of new technologies, data-driven methodologies, and digital platforms, researchers are now equipped with innovative tools that redefine how knowledge is generated, analyzed, and disseminated. At the same time, these advancements bring forward critical issues such as ethical considerations, data privacy, inclusivity, and the need for methodological rigor. This book presents a comprehensive exploration of modern research methods, ranging from qualitative and quantitative techniques to mixed method approaches and computational social science. It also highlights contemporary issues such as globalization, sustainability, social inequality, digital transformation, and cultural dynamics. By bringing together diverse perspectives, this volume aims to foster critical thinking and encourage meaningful dialogue within the academic community.
