Climate change has emerged as one of the most pressing challenges of the twenty-first century, profoundly influencing ecological systems across the globe. Among the most vulnerable and vital of these systems are forests complex, dynamic ecosystems that sustain biodiversity, regulate climate, secure livelihoods and maintain ecological balance. The edited volume Climate Change and Forest Ecosystems is conceived as a scholarly contribution to the growing body of interdisciplinary research that seeks to understand, analyze, and respond to the intricate relationship between climate change and forest environments.
